Pasta de Gohan 091109
Talking about food with Ivy during revision break, and I told her how much I love pasta and how I wanted to go to have a try at Pasta de Gohan for long. Hearing this she threw me a sort of invite "let's go later after class". So then after revision we headed off to Pyramid.
Reached Pyramid around 330pm, and straight away we head into the restaurant after parking our car. Guess what we were the only customers inside. @@ but then after we stepped in more and more people come. Luckily we're abit earlier than them so we got to choose our seats. =)
We order a set lunch with one pasta and one gratin for only RM16.80. Taste quite good, I think it taste better than Pasta Zanmai, so as Ivy. Oh ya we ordered a cup of ice cream too! Yumm yumm...
Spaghetti wafu with Chicken and Egg
Normal spaghetti with a scent of butter and soy sauce. Bring a little taste of salty. Adding in oven-cooked egg and soft-grilled chicken flesh, fully satisfied my appetite which has been graving for pasta for long.
Spicy Cod Roe and Potato Gratin
We were actually wonder what's Gratin, until it was served. It's something like baked pasta, but with more cheese. The potatoes at the top were so soft and the slight spicy taste balance up the milky favour of the cheese. Hidden under the potatoes and cheese topping are maccaroni with a whole plate of cheesy sauce. Totally a no-reject item for cheese and pasta lover like me. :)
Tiramisu Parfait
We took a long time to finally decide ordering this, just because of the TIRAMISU. lol the tiramisu was abit too hard when it was just served, freezed. The vanila ice-cream is quite abit too sweet for me, but it matches so nice with the tiramisu coffee powder topping that brought a slight bitter taste. Neutral up! Oh ya not to forget the ice-cream was sooooo smooth. Garnished by some strawberries and two slices of bananas, together with some crispy corn flakes at the bottom end, just enough for two of us. :)
Love the meal there, and after even up the bill, I just got to pay for around 15, quite worth for a meal of this kind, and got my appetite fully satisfied. =)
